Our Story
I grew up in Vietnam, where beauty was never just about appearance—it was about care. I still remember sitting on a small wooden stool while my mother brushed my hair at the end of the day. She’d hum softly, and for those few minutes, the world felt peaceful. It was in those quiet moments that I learned: beauty is comfort, and comfort is love.
When I came here, I carried that memory with me. In 1987, I opened what would become MIMOSA SALON. At first, it was just me, a tiny space, and a handful of loyal clients who quickly became friends. We laughed together, shared stories, and celebrated little moments—a perfect manicure before a big date, a fresh haircut for a new job, or simply a massage to melt away the weight of a long week.
Decades later, MIMOSA SALON has grown, but at its heart, it’s still that same warm place where people come not just to look good, but to feel cared for. Every nail we paint, every lash we perfect, every strand of hair we style, every massage we give—it’s all done with the same intention my mother taught me long ago: to make someone feel at home in their own skin.
